New Service...
Cherry Web Design now installs network cameras for businesses and private homes that can be viewed on a private network or over the internet. Cameras may be used for surveillance on a home or a vacation house as well as for for surveillance on a business facility. Also, cameras are used to monitor machinery, employees and hard to see places in and around equipment to gather data for more efficient production. Cameras can also be used to monitor equipment for safety issues.
Construction sites, office buildings, farms, warehouses, highways, towns and homes, vacation homes are many places that can be outfitted with cameras. No special software is needed. In fact all that is needed is Internet Explorer which comes with most PC’s.
EQUIPMENT
We use Toshiba cameras for their picture quality. reliability and support. All the cameras can be configured for wireless as well as wired communications. Cameras also have multiple alarm configurations with the ability to to send pictures via e-mail, FTP as well as recording on an internal SD card by alarm or motion detection. Most cameras also come with two way audio capability.
CONFIGURATION AND SOFTWARE
Turnkey setups include configuration of existing networks or setting up a complete separate camera network. Cameras are viewed over the network with a simple configuration of the router. Internet connections are set up with secure router configurations that prevent unauthorized camera viewing and encrypted signal will thwart camera signal thieves. Multiple users with varying privileges are setup via a special administrative interface built into the camera software.
REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNET ACCESS
High speed internet access is advised due to the bandwidth of the video. Recommended upload speeds should be at least 200 kbps. DSL, cable, satellite, wireless cell data cards and T1 connections are good choices.
